Workflow Website & Browser Extension Beta Privacy Policy

At Workflow Health, accessible from workflowhealth.com, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Workflow Health and how we use it.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website and browser extension with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Workflow Health. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website and the Workflow Health browser extension. ‍

Information we collect

When you register for an Account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number. ‍ If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

Like many other website, Workflow Health uses ‘cookies’. Single Sign-On (SSO) and OAuth Services

We have implemented Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality via OAuth protocol for your convenience and ease of access to our services. By opting to use SSO with Google or Microsoft, you are choosing to link your existing Google or Microsoft account with our service.

During this process, you will be redirected to the respective service’s login page where you will need to input your credentials. After successfully authenticating with these services, we will receive certain profile information (subject to your privacy settings with these services), as well as your email address and domain name associated with these accounts.

  • c. Organization’s domain name

  • c. Communicate with you about your account and our services
  • d. Comply with legal requirements and assist law enforcement
  • e. Administer and protect the security of our website and services

Please be aware that the information we receive is fully dependent on your privacy settings with Google or Microsoft, and we do not control the information sent to us by these services. If you would like to change what information is sent to us by these services, please review your privacy settings with the respective service.

3. Third-Party Services

We will never share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third-parties for their promotional purposes. However, please note that the use of SSO services involves information sharing between us and the respective third-party providers, namely, Google or Microsoft. The use of your information by such third-party service providers is not within our control and is subject to their own privacy policies.

Please be reminded that you can always opt to create and use a separate username and password for our services, if you do not wish to use SSO services and share this information.

This addition to our privacy policy is in effect from June 15th, 2023 onwards. By continuing to use our service after this date, you agree to the terms of this updated privacy policy.


Browser Extension Data

By default, all extension data (e.g., actions, workflows) are stored locally on your device and are not shared with Workflow Health unless you choose to provide it to us for feedback, support, or service customization purposes.

Workflow Health does not actively collect personally identifiable data from the browser extension. However, for the purposes of product improvement during its beta stage, we do gather anonymized, non-personally identifiable usage data. This data includes general usage information and interactions with the extension, such as clicks and use of certain features.

We do not retain the data collected for an indefinite period. It is deleted from our servers after a reasonable period necessary for our product development purposes.

The anonymous usage data we collect is used solely by our team to understand how users interact with our extension and to improve our product and services. This data is never shared with any third party.


Workflow Sync Service

If your organization uses Workflow Health, you can choose to sync your extension data with your organization using the Workflow sync service. In this case, workflow data will be downloaded from our secure database and shared with you from your organization’s account.

If you choose not to sync your extension data with your organization’s account, your data will remain stored locally on your device, accessible only to you.


Log Files

The Workflow Health website follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. This information is not linked to any personally identifiable information. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, gathering demographic information, and improving our product and services.


CCPA Privacy Rights (Do Not Sell My Personal Information)

Under the CCPA, among other rights, California consumers have the right to:

  • Request that a business that collects a consumer’s personal data disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal data that a business has collected about consumers. ‍
  • Request that a business delete any personal data about the consumer that a business has collected. ‍

The right to restrict processing - You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing - You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability - You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

Children’s Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

Workflow Health does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
